Hi Patrick, thank you very much for the information. They are indeed VDO and I will get them verified.
the guages never actually crossed the 100 degree mark but its always better to be safe.

your temperature regulators are opening on 88C and fully open on 98C.
So 100 would be too high.
Just a question, where do you note you engine parameters?
do you have a Cat digital display, or do you have analog gauges?

Hello, I have twin 3126B engines serial #3GS00302 rated at 455HP. Cruising RPM is 2400 and Max RPM is 2800
What is the normal operating temperature I should expect while 2400RPM and also at 2800RPM.
Also, what is the maximum temperature the engins can reach without causing damage.
Presently my temperatures run around 90-92degrees C at 2000RPM and around 100 degrees C at 2400RPM
Is this normal and OK for these engins to run at those temperatures.
