i've got two 3508 engines driving fire water pumps, both keep bringing in their high and high high exhaust alarms after about half an hour of running, these are set at 192C and 200C respectivly.
I couldn't find a temp in the manual, but a bit of light googling brought up a temp stack reading for a 3508 gen set, at over 300C, this was from a CAT manual.
So, my question is, should the alarms be set where they are, or should they be higher? And what is the recomended exhaust temp of a 3508?
