The throttle position sensor needs to be calibrated in the engine ECM. Duty cycle from the TPS should be no less than 7% at idle and not over 92% at full throttle. Then, the TPS calibration in the engine ECM should be 2% higher at low idle and 2% lower at full throttle. This assures engine will idle at programmed low idle speed and reach programmed high idle.
