Re: Lube Oil Leakage Problem from Turbochargers of CAT C-32 ACERT

Load the engine above 60-70% of rated on a regular basis, the condition you describe is typically called "slobber" and is usually the result of running extended periods of time at light loads. Modern engines don't like being operated for long periods of time below 50% of rated load, as the rings don't properly seal, and combustion is usually incomplete.

Hope that helps, MikeL.

Lube Oil Leakage Problem from Turbochargers of CAT C-32 ACERT

I am having 02 nos of CAT C-32 ACERT in Land Rig Mud Pump Application of the following Details.

In both the Engines I am facing problem of Lube Oil Leakages from both (Twin) Turbo Chargers when Engine is on Partial and No Load Condition.

I am worried for this problem so can anyone suggest for remedial action to overcome this problem?
