I have a 2011 Cat 289C with 1000 hours. When machine is cold the travel speed is slower than normal and gets progressively slower until the joystick is returned to neutral position and then it starts out normal but slows progressively again. After a few minutes the problem seems to go away except that I have also noticed travel speed slower than normal (but not progressively slower) after using bucket tilt or boom raise/lower function when the machine is warm. Again, after returning joystick to neutral position machine will then move at normal speed. Nothing abnormal with engine rpm or otherwise when this happens. Any idea what the problem could be?
