Try adjust AVRs settings: droop used for parallel operation. Make droop same on all AVRs and gain, stability...

  Thanks for your advise.  I will inform as next

 

1) CT ratio :  3  Gen set are same ( 1200: 1 A )  ,   Gen cap is 344 KVA , 523 A

2) All parallel operation have same problems.

3)  & 4)

    .  KVAR & cos indication is correctly.  (  100% KVAR  may be PF 0.5   )

    . Test operation by same load  for  single & parallel operation  ( Abt  140 KWE )    ----  Single  ( KVAR 8 %, )

         Parallel  operation (  KVAR hunt  -44 ~ 130 % ,  Actual currernt  same  )                   

    .  Cable & wire checking result.  ----   Each CT line was separated connected at AVR  ( 5,6 ) , 

         This should be consideration.        How about your opinion?

    . AVR adjustment

       - We installed new AVR  &  Diodes .

1) About 1200:1 you have to look the rate on CT and make the same on each genset.
2) what gen set have this problem exactly? Number 1 and 2 when in parallel or 2 and 3 genset in parallel or 3 and 1 ? Or they have all the same problem?
3) KVAR it is reactive power and adjusted AVR and exitation current. Check all cables wires and connections on generator and diodes bridges.
4) what is the load at this time on the busbar: active and reactive and cos?

     AVR adjustment is  basic  method.  (  We replaced  all AVR by new.  )

 How about   CCCT ratio?    We used  1200 : 1A .

 . Normally  How much  current  at AVR ?

You have to adjust on each generator AVR: gain, stability, voltage. Find in internet how to adjust avr in parallel operation.

3406C Gen set Parallel operation

We used Power plant ( 3 sets 3406 C , Gen L6B05266  - 60Hz , 4 Wire  380 V,  344 KVA , AVR VR 6, C/T 1200:1 A)

During Parallel operation   generator have  too much cross current.  So can not operation with parallel

Kvar is change -44~ 144 % in short time. What is wrong? How we can solve this problems.?
