Obligatory not a mechanic, but it sounds like a fuel supply issue. How cold is it where you are? If you are in a colder climate, your fuel might be gelling up, if it is, you will need to use some diesel anti-gel. Secondly I would check is the small inline filter between the tank and the lift pump. If that is plugged, then you might run for a little then stall out. If it isnt either of those, I would check the lift pump itself, if you take off the top cover of the lift pump, there should be a small screen in there that could get plugged as well. If none of that is the issue, then I would call your local dealer and talk to the service guys. Sorry I cant be of more help.
