Cat 277B overheating

Hey guys, hoping you might have some advice. Have a 277B track loader that is well-maintained. Replaced thermo over the winter.

It's overheating. Has plenty of coolant in reservoir, no noticeable leaks, radiator and filter clean, but overheats even at slower rpms. Ambient air temp approx 55-60 F. I thought it could be bad sensor, but am not seeing any coolant in the radiator and the hose out doesn't ever get hot.

I do whiff the aroma of coolant when my head is over the radiator and the fan is blowing, but that's it.

Thoughts welcome and appreciated!
