Just discovered this forum while searching for a somewhat complicated problem. Hopefully I can find some help here.
I'm trying to compare loads of a 745C to on-road trucks.
I've discovered the axle loads from the spec brochure issued by CAT for the 745C are about 27-28 tons per axle. I want to try to compare apples to apples though. I know the 745 has much bigger tires and the point load would be distributed more than on-road trucks. Any one have any advice for this calculation?
Thanks in advance
