The EYE on a bucket lifting Capacity

I need help with getting some loading capacities, welding strength,or any document from CAT that shows the strength of THE EYE that is located on the back side of a 1.2 m wide bucket used for a 320 D excavator. I am working for a client with extremely high standard in HSE and does not allow any of the excavators to use the welded EYE for lifting even for minor load. After a long discussion he suggested that I get him any document for CAT that shows a strength or capacity of lifting for it.

Below is a chat between me and a costumer support from CAT website regarding the issue were he couldnt help nor was I contacted by AlZahid Company (local dealer in KSA).

Please help,

Scott (6/4/2018, 3:42:16 PM): Hello, how may I assist you today?
Me (6/4/2018, 3:44:56 PM): Hi. I was wondering if there is any load capacity specs for the welded hool( or lifting area were a D shakel is attached to lift material) since i am trying to get a TUV certificate for it
Me (6/4/2018, 3:45:08 PM): Hook*
Me (6/4/2018, 3:45:49 PM): This is for any of the 1.2 m wide bucket
Scott (6/4/2018, 3:46:15 PM): Hi Ali! What model of machine is the bucket used with?
Me (6/4/2018, 3:47:40 PM): I think it is a 310D
Scott (6/4/2018, 3:49:46 PM): Let me check with one of my reps and see what I can find out.
Me (6/4/2018, 3:50:18 PM): Sorry 320 D
Me (6/4/2018, 3:50:34 PM): Appreciate it
Scott (6/4/2018, 3:50:40 PM): We do stamp the rated capacity on the eye of the bucket.
Me (6/4/2018, 3:51:15 PM): Does ir include hook load capacity?
Scott (6/4/2018, 3:52:43 PM): The amount that the machine can lift will depend on the configuration of the machine and I would recommend you contact the local Cat dealer to verify the machine's capabilities.
Scott (6/4/2018, 3:52:56 PM): If you'd like, I can connect you with a dealer in your area.
Me (6/4/2018, 3:53:38 PM): So in other words, the hook can carry whatever the machine can?
Scott (6/4/2018, 3:54:16 PM): Ultimately, the capacity that you can lift will be determined by the machine. However, the eye does have an independent rated capacity.
Me (6/4/2018, 3:54:52 PM): Ok. Great. Is there any specs for the eye?
Scott (6/4/2018, 3:55:21 PM): Unfortunately, we don't have a spec sheet for the eye itself.
Scott (6/4/2018, 3:55:45 PM): Do you know specifically which type of bucket you have?
Me (6/4/2018, 3:56:43 PM): Mmm. Ok let me try in another way. Is there any document that sais that the eye can lift the same capacity of the excavator.
Me (6/4/2018, 3:57:05 PM): Regarding the bucket. I k ow it is a 1.2 m wide yellow bucket for a 320 D
Me (6/4/2018, 3:57:17 PM): The one with teeth
Scott (6/4/2018, 3:58:23 PM): No, we don't have a document that would say that because the eye may not necessarily be rated for the same thing as the machine.
Me (6/4/2018, 3:59:19 PM): Hmm. Even a welding test strength?
Me (6/4/2018, 4:02:06 PM): Let me tell you a brief story y i need it. I have 12 320 D excavator in a metro project here in KSA. The HSE department does not allow me to lift any thing with the hook although it is from the manufacturer. They said there is no specs for lifting capacities or welding strength. So if i need to lift 50 kg i need to get a boomtruck to do a job.
Me (6/4/2018, 4:02:58 PM): They said just get me anything feom the supplier for this and i can allow you
Scott (6/4/2018, 4:03:26 PM): I can connect you with one of our dealers and they will be able to help you but I don't have a document that I can send to you with that information.
Me (6/4/2018, 4:05:14 PM): Ok. No problem. Is it possible you can share with the dealer this chat so i dont have to re-explain? It would be great.
Scott (6/4/2018, 4:06:37 PM): Yes, I can forward our conversation to them in an email. What is your phone number and location?
Me (6/4/2018, 4:06:58 PM): 00966 56 536 1775
Scott (6/4/2018, 4:08:51 PM): Thanks! Where are you located?
Me (6/4/2018, 4:09:23 PM): Riyadh - Saudi Arabia
Scott (6/4/2018, 4:11:55 PM): Thanks! I'll forward your information over to Zahid Tractor and Heavy Machinery. One of their reps will be in touch with you directly.
Scott (6/4/2018, 4:12:04 PM): Is there anything else I can assist you with today?
Me (6/4/2018, 4:12:22 PM): Thank you very much.
Me (6/4/2018, 4:12:55 PM): Please dont hesitate in contacting me through my email if there is any info regarding this issue
Me (6/4/2018, 4:13:28 PM): Since i am pretty sure the local supplier (zahid) do not have such info as you guys
Scott (6/4/2018, 4:14:37 PM): Their technical communicator should be able to request the info from the appropriate support group if they do not have it on hand.
Me (6/4/2018, 4:15:07 PM): Ok. Great. Apprecite ir Scott
Me (6/4/2018, 4:15:13 PM): Have a nice one
Scott (6/4/2018, 4:15:30 PM): Thanks! Have a nice day!
