Re: Undervoltage problem

Thank you for you answer, ı changed the Cdvr, the problem was solved. But it is weird that the generator is running with bad cdvr for four hours than shut down, did you faced this situation like that? Also can ı see the cdvr failure cause by connecting with pc program?

Re: Undervoltage problem

Emcp 2 it's not voltage regulator. Voltage regulates by CDVR (caterpillar digital volt regulator) or DVR. There are connectors check them. And try change rotating diode bridges if have spaire.

Re: Undervoltage problem

If have CDVR check CurrentTrasformer. Socket P12 (1;2). I knew problem if it's broken, then voltage drops suddenly. Or try disconnect this pins P12(1;2) and check voltage.

Hello everyone
We have a g3512 generator, the generator starting well, and working almost a hour, after that the output voltage drop suddenly, ı check permanent magnet fuses, they seems well.
İs there any suggest to solve this problem?
